Now You Can Embed FB Posts On Other Websites

Social networking giant to follow Twitter model in a bid to boost popularity.

Facebook, the popular social networking giant, has introduced a feature that allows you to embed public posts on to other websites. The Embedded Posts feature will let users bring posts to such users who may not visit Facebook to read them. An Embed Post hyperlink will now appear below public posts, and you will be presented with an embed code once you click it. This can then be copied and pasted into a blog or any other website of your choice to embed the post over there. This works in the same way as YouTube and Twitter embedding works.

The posts to be embedded have to be set to Public in order for them to be eligible for embedding. The embedded posts can include pictures, videos, hashtags, and other content. Additionally, people who view these posts on other websites can directly share or like them just like from FB as buttons for the same are present as well. Similarly, they can also click on hashtags in the embedded links. The feature may not be available to you as of now as it is being rolled out. Facebook had been trying to improve its popularity by introducing new features such as hashtags. Do you think this new feature will help boost the social network's popularity?
