Dual-SIM HTC Desire 600 Available Online For Rs 27,000

The Jelly Bean handset features a quad-core processor and 4.5" screen.

Announced back in May, the HTC Desire 600 has started retailing in India. Pegged at Rs 27,000 on online shops, it's probably the costliest dual-SIM phone in the Indian market for now. To justify its price, the Desire 600 packs in a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor (Qualcomm MSM8625Q Snapdragon 200 SoC). The 4.5" screen is LCD 2 type with pixel dimensions of 540x960. Apart from that you get an 8 megapixel camera, 1.6 megapixel front-facing snapper, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, and 1860 mAh battery. On the software front, it ships with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) platform with Sense 5 UI.

Similar to its top dog the HTC one, the Desire 600 is equipped with front-facing dual BoomSound speakers, and the Beats Audio integration. The other two quad-core Android phone with dual-SIM support are GALAXY Grand Quattro (priced at around Rs 17,000) and Panasonic P51 (Rs 22,500). While Samsung and Panasonic have decided to go aggressive with the pricing, HTC is probably banking on its design and build quality.
