Cooler Master N300 & N500 Chassis Launched

Mid-tower cabinets with high-end features at a more affordable price for DIY desktop PC builders.

Announcing a "step up" from the venerable Elite series, Cooler Master now has two new chassis in their "N Series" range, bringing new features and performance to the entry-level space. The N300 & N500 mid-tower cabinets offer better airflow, ability to install liquid coolers, USB 3.0 connectors and other such high-end features.

Though compact in dimensions with a simple front, they offer enough space to build a high-end desktop with big cards and cooling radiators. The N300 can take 8 HDDs and 1 SSD, while the N500 can take 4 HDDs and 4 SSDs with enough space left to install a 405mm-long graphics card. There is a tray on top to keep personal belongings like USB drives, memory cards, etc.

The release claims both these desktop cases are crafted for good cooling. They come with full mesh front panels allowing the chassis to breathe freely, although this also means more dust can enter inside depending on where you keep your PC. The N series supports many fans for airflow - 8 fans in N300 and 9 fans in N500. Two high-cfm Cooler Master 'Sickle Flow' fans are bundled by default. Liquid coolers are welcome - the N300 can fit a 240mm radiator near the top or at the sides, whereas the N500 can fit a 240mm radiator at the top or the rear.

Here's a quick spec comparison table of the two:

The MRP pricing of the N300 and N500 is Rs 3,999 and Rs 4,999 respectively. Both chassis are available right away and carry a 1-year warranty.

The company's Country Manager Mr. Crane Chen said, "The Cooler Master N Series was developed specifically for upcoming markets where end-users desire high-end features, but are limited by budget. Both the N300 and N500 bring class leading features at an attractive price point and offer terrific value for money that consumers in India will appreciate."
