Rovio's popular Facebook game now available for mobile devices.

 

Rovio's popular game franchise's Facebook version, Angry Birds Friends, which debuted around a year ago, is now available for Android and iOS devices. Similar to the FB version, this one also offers weekly tournaments with bronze, silver, and gold crown on the levels. The game promises new levels every week, and lets you earn power-ups (including an exclusive one just for the mobile platform) from the tournament mode. Apart from daily rewards you can also share scores and accomplishments with your friends.

In other news, Windows Phone users can also now play the game on their WP8 handsets: The only catch is that it is the original Angry Birds game. But the silver lining is that you get is that 100 new levels for free, but that too only up to 15th May. Nokia's official blog further suggests that Angry Birds Rio will also make its way to the platform, so WP8 users can now join the club!
