Zebronics Bluetooth-Enabled Tower Speaker Unveiled

Single-box design with four-sided sound throw for 360-degree surround claims rich, immersive listening experience.

 

The Zebronics brand has unveiled their floor-standing Monster Tower speaker (model ZEB-BT8000RUC, named Dabang) priced at Rs 5,000 with a one-year warranty. The Zebronics Monster Tower is claimed to deliver up to 50W RMS of sound in a single-box form-factor. Housed in a full wooden enclosure that follows a single-box design, its dark cherry wood colour lends it an elegant look, to complement the decor of a living room.

The distinctive design feature of the Bluetooth Tower Speaker is the four 3-inch drivers on all sides of the box, for a 360-degree surround sound experience complementing a 5-inch subwoofer. The drivers' inherent stiffness, low mass and self-damping properties allow them to deliver clean, accurate sound. The control pod is located on the top, and includes the volume and sound source controls; play/pause, rewind and forward buttons; the input ports (USB or SD/MMC cards); and a LED display. The controls can also be managed through a full function remote controller.

Bundled accessory cables enable users to connect external digital devices such as phones or media players through auxiliary input, or complement the sound system of a large-screen TV. The Bluetooth connectivity feature in this model is a first for the Zebronics Sound Monster speaker lineup, and enables wireless input from any playing source with Bluetooth functionality.
