Nokia Lumia 720 Surfaces Online With A Rs 19,000 Price Tag

As reported earlier, the wait for the Nokia Lumia 720 will be over by end of April. Finally, the handset is up for pre-order on Flipkart.com for an expected price tag of Rs 19,000. For those who are bold enough to pick up the WP8 smartphone before its official release slated to happen soon, the e-commerce store has thrown in a 16 GB SanDisk microSD card as a freebie. This offer is valid till the 24th of April. The phone is also available for a lower price of Rs 17,720 on eBay for the first 35 buyers or up to 20th of April, whichever happens earlier. However, you are urged to read through the product description thoroughly before making a purchase over here. At the time of this writing, six pieces have already been sold.

As is already known, the Lumia 720 is priced between the Lumia 820 and 620. While the phone follows a design similar to the N9, it does away with the unibody styling to make way for a microSD card slot and user-replaceable battery.

Sporting a 4.3" IPS screen with ClearBlack tech for better sunlight legibility, the handset is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, and 512 MB of RAM.
