Rumour: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3 To Launch In September

These devices are expected to launch in IFA 2013 in Berlin, around September this year.

Samsung may be set to launch the next "Note" phablet, and the next iteration of its Galaxy Tab series. A report says Samsung's Galaxy Tab 3 would be the next installment in the manufacturer's popular Galaxy Tab tablet computer series, and goes on to state that this device will release along with Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 during IFA 2013 consumer technology event slated to be held at Berlin in September this year.

No official information about technical specs are available yet, but rumour says Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 is expected to come with a 6.3 inch display, larger than the 5.5 inches seen in Note 2 and sized closer to 7-inch tablets. We'll find out soon enough, whether users queue up to hold 6-inch smartphones to their ear and make calls.

The Galaxy Note 2 was also announced at the IFA 2012, so a Note 3 at IFA this year can be true. Samsung's Tab 3, the other device slated to be unveiled at IFA 2013 is expected to come with either a 10.1 inch display or a 11.6 inch Super AMOLED display and is also expected to have an 8-core processor, although these details are unconfirmed.

The current Galaxy Tab 2 is slated to receive the Android 4.2.2 update (which won't be available for the first generation Galaxy Tab). Samsung recently updated the Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) with Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). The Korean smartphone manufacturer recently launched its new flagship, the Galaxy S4 smartphone, after months of speculation and rumours.
