Byond Launches Mi-Book Mi7 Tablet For Rs 11,500

Features 7" screen and 3G calling

Looks like Byond is on a product launching spree, after unveiling the Phablet PIII a few days ago, today it has a new tablet under its belt. The new tablet called the Mi-Book Mi7 offers a 7" capacitive display with an Android 4.0 (ICS) experience. Most importantly it has a 3G SIM-card slot which can make calls. It is powered by a 3200 mAh battery which fuels its 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, which is supported by 512 MB of RAM. Photography and video calling is taken care of with its 2 mp rear and VGA front camera.

Here are the detailed specs for Byond Mi-Book Mi7

  • 1.2 GHz dual-core processor
  • Android 4.0 (ICS) operating system
  • 512 MB DDR2 RAM
  • 7" capacitive display with pixel dimensions of 600 x 1024
  • 2 mp rear and VGA front camera
  • 4 GB internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB with micro-SD card slot)
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, G-Sensor
  • 3200 mAh li-ion battery

The Byond Mi-Book Mi7 has been priced at Rs 11,500. We haven't used the tablet, hence cannot comment on its performance. Going by its specs though, iBerry's Auxus CoreX2 3G tablet which was launched last week seems to have an upper hand. Also, it's 500 bucks cheaper.
