The Tumblr app has been available for the iOS platform for a while now. However, the fancy social app has now been updated to version 3.0, and sports some major improvements and a UI redesign. Although it was quite good prior to the update too, the fresh version is said come with bumped up performance, making it easier to read new posts as well as to write new ones on the move. A feature which most iOS users will welcome, is the ability to like posts, write new ones, reply, or reblog whilst being offline. Some cool new camera shortcuts have been added as well, such as swiping the compose button upwards to open the camera app directly for uploading a photo post.

The app also comes with Spotify support, along with the ability to add high resolution images with posts. It is commendable what the team has done here, with the app getting a new look and feel. It doesn't take long to get used to the new features, though you will still feel that some features should have been added to this updates. Almost every user review of the updated app seems to be favourable, so it makes this a worthy upgrade. In case you haven't tried Tumblr yet, you can start now.
