Smartron, a Hyderabad based company made headlines with its ‘SRT’ smartphone named after Sachin Tendulkar. It also launched an aggressively priced Smartphone t.phone P in India this year. Available only in Black at the time of the launch, it now gets a Gold variant. And guess who unveiled it? A walking jewelry store, Singer Bappi Lahiri. The Smartron t.phone P Gold Edition costs Rs. 7,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting from April 22, 2018 at 11:59 PM.
 
 
The t.phone P sports a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It bears in 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB with via the hybrid slot.
 
On the optics front, it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture coupled with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) and LED Flash. There is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash.
 
It features Smartron’s tcloud, tcare, tstore and tronX’s assistive and predictive AI. Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB OTG etc. The Smartron t.phone P runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 operating system. And lastly it packs in a massive 5000 mAh battery.
