Panasonic P101 Offers A Thin-Bezel Design On Budget

In India, budget smartphone market is quite buzzing. The online sales are dominated by Xiaomi phones and on the other the offline market by Oppo. Despite that Panasonic has held ground and relentlessly brings out new devices more often than not. It focusses on the offline retail sales from where it gets the major chunk of its business. Now, the company has introduced its P101 handset in the Indian market. It is a successor to the Panasonic P100 which was launched a few months ago.

 
Where the Panasonic P100 had thick bezels, the P101 upgrades to a tall screen with thin bezels. it sports a 5.45-inch HD+ 2.5D curved display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a MediaTek quad core processor and bears in 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The memory is expandable up to 128 GB via the dedicated microSD card slot. On the photography front it is equipped by an 8-megapixel rear facing camera and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. Both cameras get LED flash support.
 
Other features include dedicated Dual-SIM support with 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It packs in a 2500 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. The Panasonic P101 comes in Black color and is priced at Rs 6999.
