Panasonic Launches Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700 In India

The Eluga Ray 500 may be the cheapest smartphone, currently, with a dual rear camera setup.

 

Panasonic has announced the launch of two of its new smartphones in India dubbed as the Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700, which were listed on Flipkart from a past couple of days.

It is said that these new smartphones come with stock Android operating system, and also feature a fingerprint sensor. Both Eluga Ray 500 and 700 come with price tags of Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999 and offer pretty interesting features at this price point.

In-fact, the Eluga Ray 500, which is the cheapest among the two devices, comes with a dual rear camera setup as well, which is, as we all know, the latest trend in the current smartphone industry.

Technically speaking, the Eluga Ray 500 comes with a 13 MP sensor and an 8 MP sensor on the rear panel, making it a dual camera setup. On the other hand, the Eluga Ray 700 features a single  camera module of 13 MP on the rear panel. Speaking about front cameras, the Eluga Ray 500 comes with 5 MP sensor and Eluga Ray 700 features a 13 MP sensor.

Moving further, the Eluga Ray 500 comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display screen while being powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor paired by a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. And, the Eluga Ray 700 features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with an octa-core MediaTek MTK6753 processor clacked at 1.3 GHz powering it up, from under the hood. The device’s RAM and ROM configurations are similar to that of Ray 500.

Backing these devices up, the Eluga Ray 500 comes with a 4,000 mAh battery and the Eluga Ray 700 features a larger 5,000 mAh battery.
