Vivo To Launch V7+ In India Today

The smartphone is a selfie-focused device, and may feature a 24 MP selfie camera.

 

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is all set to launch its new selfie-focused smartphone dubbed as Vivo V7+ in India, today at a launch event starting at 12.45 PM IST. The company is also live-streaming the launch event, and you can catch it on the company’s YouTube channel and its other social media profiles.

Speaking about the new phone, we are still not aware of many specifications, except that it is a selfie-focused device and the display bezels are very minimum. And, it looks like the device will be sold on both Amazon and Flipkart, since the launch event is also being live streamed on both the e-commerce websites.

However, going by some reports, it looks like the device will be launching two variants namely, the Vivo V7 and V7+. Also, according to a recent report published on Firstpost.com, it seems that both Vivo V7 and V7+ are expected to be featuring 5 inch and 5.7 inch display screens. The report also suggests that we may witness a metal and glass construction.

Under the hood, it looks like we can expect mid-range processors like Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 or 660, paired with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. However, we are not sure as to how accurate these rumours may be, and to know better, we may have to only wait until the smartphone is launched today. And, as far as the price tags are concerned, some reports do claim that we may see Vivo V7 and V7+ being rolled out for Rs 19,999 and Rs 27,999. We would suggest to just wait for a few hours to know the accurate details, before coming to any conclusions.
