Google Pixel 2 May Launch On Oct 5

The recent rumour comes via a tweet by popular tipster Evan Blass.

 

This month has been pretty interesting for the tech aficionados, thanks to the launch of much awaited operating system, Android 8.0 Oreo, and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. And now, we have been hearing a lot about the launch of Google’s upcoming flagship device, Pixel 2, which is expected to mark the debut of the latest Snapdragon 836 processor.

The information comes via a recent tweet shared by the popular Tipster Evan Blass, suggesting that Google’s second-generation Pixel handsets, powered by Snapdragon 836 processor, will be unveiled on Oct 5.

Looking at the leaked information by Evan Blass, it looks like Pixel second gen smartphones’ launch date would likely sync with the launch of original Pixel devices that took place in Oct 2016.

To recall, recent reports have been suggesting that the upcoming Pixel devices would be featuring 64 GB internal storage, 4 GB RAM, NFC, Bluetooth, and WiFi 802.11 ac. Apparently, the most highlighted feature is said to be ‘Active Edge’ which is similar to the squeezing feature that was found on HTC U11. Not to forget, the regular Pixel 2 smartphone is expected to be manufactured by HTC.

Adding further about these devices, it is expected that the Pixel 2 phone would be sporting a 4.95 inch FHD display while the Pixel 2 XL would be featuring a 5.99 inch QHD display.
