Moto Z2 Play Listed Online On TENAA

While this looks similar to its predecessor, the battery seems to have been cut down to 2,800 mAh from 3,510 mAh.

It looks like we finally have a good look at how upcoming Moto smartphone would look like, as the device was recently spotted on the Chinese certification website, TENAA. While we know that the upcoming smartphone is being christened as Moto Z2 Play, the listing on TENAA mentions the model number as XT1710-08, and it definitely gives us a pretty good information regarding the phone’s technical specifications as well.

Heading forward, we can clearly see that the Moto Z2 Play looks pretty much like its predecessor along with a 16 pin magnetic module at the back, and power button and volume rocker on the right. However, we can also observe that the smartphone’s home button may have undergone slight changes.

Having said that, the listing clearly hints at the 12 MP camera module that would be paired with dual LED flash on the back panel of Moto Z2 Play, and the 5 MP front facing camera.

Along with this, the listing also reveals that the smartphone would be featuring a 5.5 inch FHD OLED display, 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 626 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, and 2,800 mAh battery. Well, if at all this is true, then the battery may definitely turn out as a disappointment for many as the Moto Z Play sported a 3,510 mAh battery.

Also, according to the listing, the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. However, we suggest you to take this with a pinch of salt, though we can see high chances of similar specs to be coming out with the phone when it is actually released.
