HTC To Launch U 11 Today With Edge Sense Technology

HTC has recently sent media invites for the launch of its much rumoured smartphone, the HTC U 11 which comes with the ‘Edge Sensor’ technology. According to the launch invite, the smartphone will be launched in Taipei at 11.30 AM IST.

Though the media invite doesn’t specify anywhere that the smartphone is HTC U 11, the poster comes with wordings - “Squeeze for the brilliant”. This clearly comes in sync with recent rumours we have been witnessing about HTC U 11’s edge sensor technology.

According to the media invite, interested people can witness the launch of the smartphone live by visiting https://www.htc.com/in/go/launch/. You will have to enter your email to receive a link to the live stream of the launch event.

To recall, recently HTC accidentally listed out the HTC Edge Sense app on Google Play, therefore revealing a couple of functions that would be part of the HTC Edge Sense technology. In-case, if you are unaware, this technology helps smartphone to actually respond to actions such as squeezing.
