Samsung To Launch Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus In India Today

Just ahead of launch, it looks like price and availability details of both smartphones have been revealed.

 

We all know that Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones are getting launched in India, today, probably in a couple of minutes. However, it looks like just ahead of the launch, some extra information pertaining to the much awaited Samsung flagships are out, and have been reported by Gadgets360.

According to a reliable source, as claimed by Gadgets360, Samsung Galaxy S8 would be available in India starting from May 5 for a MRP of Rs 62,600. However, the post also mentions that the dealer price would be Rs 56,900.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus would also be available starting from May 5 with price tag of Rs 69,000, while dealers may sell it at Rs 63,900. However, pre-bookings for both the smartphones are said to commence from today itself!

Additionally, it is also being said that dual SIM variants of both Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be launched in India, going by the devices’ model numbers.

Having said this, it is worth recalling that these two smartphones are definitely of great importance for the company, especially after its much expected Galaxy Note 7 failed miserably following the battery incident.
