DataWind Launches 6 Inch Phablet MoreGMax 3G6 In India

The press release mentions that users would be getting 12 months of free internet browsing.

 

DataWind has recently announced the launch of its new smartphone that comes with a whopping 6 inch screen, dubbed as the MoreGMax 3G6, priced at Rs 5,999. The phablet was launched by the Mayor of Toronto, Canada, John Tory during his visit to India.

Technically speaking, the MoreGMax 3G6 sports a 6 inch touchscreen, along with a 2 MP front facing camera and a 8 MP rear camera, while running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

Also, under the hood, the device is powered a quad core 1.3 GHz processor coupled with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM which can expanded upto 32 GB via SD card. The device also comes with features like Wi-fi Hotspot, Wi-fi Direct, Bluetooth, GPS among others.

Speaking about the launch, Suneet Singh Tuli, President & CEO of DataWind In. said, “We at DataWind want to cater to the forgotten billion, those that have been left out of the growth and prosperity that India is witnessing.  By empowering them with connectivity to billions of pages of website, we give them the opportunity to take advantage of both educational content and also commerce."

Additionally it is also mentioned in the recent press release that the device would be coming with 12 months of free internet browsing, though no much details on the same have been revealed yet.
