Google Keep Now Part Of The G Suite

The note taking app can be accessed from within the Docs app itself.

If you are a person who likes to keep all your stuff neatly arranged on your smartphones with a number of ‘To Do Lists’ and ‘Thoughts’ to keep yourself productive throughout the day, you might already be knowing what Google Keep is all about.

Originally developed by the company as an organiser and note-taking app, it has been announced recently that Keep is now a part of G Suite, making it easy to access the app from within Google Docs. This, according to a blog post by Google, makes brainstorming in a corporate level much easier.

Google has mentioned in the blog that ‘Keep’ can be accessed through the Tools menu in the Docs app. As published on the blog, here are a few ways you can make your work better with the new integration between Keep and Docs:

  • Drag your notes from Keep directly into your work documents
  • Easily search your notes in Keep while in Docs to find the information you need to complete your project
  • Add a new note in the Keep notepad or select text from inside of your document and easily add it to a new note (just right click and select “Save to Keep notepad”). When you open that note in Keep, we’ll include a link back to the source document so you can always refer back to it.
