Xiaomi Launches Redmi 4X In Two Variants

The smartphone will be coming in two new colors: Cherry Pink and Matte Black.

 

Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has recently announced yet another smartphone under the Redmi 4 range, dubbed as the Redmi 4X, which has been in the talks for a while now.

The Redmi 4X smartphone features a unibody metal design with a fingerprint sensor on the back. Interestingly, the new smartphone is said to be available in Cherry Pink and Matte Black color, along with the usual Champagne Gold.

Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM, while another variant includes a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. Both these variants are priced at 699 Yuan and 899 Yuan respectively.

Compared to Redmi 3X, the new 4X smartphone would be coming with a couple of notable differences and upgradations in the design and processing. The edges are more curved now, and the new processor is Snapdragon 435. Along with this, the operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow unlike Android 5.1 Lollipop we have seen earlier on Redmi 3X.

Having said this, other specifications Redmi 4X come with are a 5 inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass, 13 MP rear camera, and 5 MP front facing camera. Also, the phone runs on 4,100 mAh battery and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
