OnePlus’s Next Flagship May Be OnePlus 5

Reports suggest that number ‘4’ is considered as ‘Bad Luck’ in China.

While all the attention is on the Mobile World Congress 2017 held in Barcelona, it looks like a new rumour from Korea has managed to put OnePlus in the radar.

OnePlus 4 may not be launched at all, but instead, we may see the company’s next flagship smartphone being dubbed as OnePlus 5, reports GSMArena, while adding that the smartphone will be featuring a dual-curved edge screen.

Apparently, if you are wondering what happened to the OnePlus 4, a couple of reports online including the one published on PhoneArena.com stress on number ‘4’ being considered as bad luck in China. However, it looks like OnePlus 3T may be considered as the company’s fourth flagship device, and thus, it seems pretty logical to witness OnePlus 5 in the coming days.

According to reports, the OnePlus 5 may be similar to Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone, while we may witness either a 6 GB or 8 GB RAM along with a 256 GB of internal storage. On the camera end, the smartphone may be equipped with a 23 MP rear camera and 16 MP selfie shooter.

However, there are many things still unclear in this perspective. We are still having no clue which processor would be installed inside the flagship device. But, as always, this is just a rumour, and we may have to digest it with a pinch of salt.
