Meet The A57: Oppo's Latest Selfie-Centric Smartphone
The smartphone offers a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
Oppo, known for its selfie-centric smartphones has launched the A57 in India. The phone comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Unlike the recently launched V5 Plus though, the Oppo A57 lacks a front-camera flash.
The phone features a 5.2-inch HD screen. The display sports a 2.5D curved glass with Corning's Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The A57 is backed by the Snapdragon 435 chipset. It has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The microSD card slot supports up to 256 GB storage. The dual-SIM handset supports 4G VoLTE, which means it is fully compatible with Reliance Jio SIM.
Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and A-GPS (Assisted GPS). The phone has 2900 mAh battery. In terms of software, you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The Oppo A57 is pegged at Rs 14,990. It will be available from brick-and-mortar shops and online stores. Unlike Chinese manufacturers, Oppo smartphone priced aren't very competitive.
