Evernote 8.0 Brings New Features On iOS

Press the ‘plus’ button to take a note, but long press it and slide to record audio.

It is pretty much evident that Evernote has lost its charm over the last few years. And, to win back the lost customers, the company has launched a new version of the application on iOS App Store.

The new update changes the version of the note-taking application to v8.0, and with this, users get faster ways to find their saved notes. Along with this, the update also brings in more customization options to users, as well as, improved performance.

It is reported by PhoneArena that the new iOS app update has been designed keeping those requests made by users in mind.

Apparently, the Evernote 8.0 comes with a better overall navigation structure, and interestingly, the developers have removed the home screen completely. Also, the update now comes with two new search features.

One simple example of how simple the note taking app is by tapping on the green ‘plus’ button, you can start creating a new text note, but if you long press it and slide your finger, then you get options to record audio, capture images, and set up notifications as well.
