Snapchat Gets Major Changes In Its Design

The new update is still available only for the app’s beta testers, and may soon be public.

Snapchat has recently released a complete make over on its design and user interface, which is said to be available as a preview to only Snapchat beta testers on Android currently.

A report on The Indian Express mentions that the new update comes with a new search tab which is claimed to appear on top of every screen including camera. Also, the design changeover has made the navigation more easier, claims the same report, citing Mashable.

The easier navigation now allows you to access your profile and settings by simply clicking on the Bitmoji option. Also, you can now see a new tab called as ‘best friends’ in the friends screen. This displays those contacts with whom you talk frequently.

The Search bar that can be found on top of Stories section, camera, and chat screens can be used to search for friends, celebrities, and as well as, chat one-on-one with them. This new update also brings in ‘quick add’ option that actually allows you to see friend requests.

Lastly, with this new update, you can now see snaps and live stories that were earlier restricted as location-specific. You can even contribute snaps from any part of the world, adds the report on The Indian Express.
