CES 2017: Asus Unveils Chromebook Flip C302 With 2-in-1 Design

With CES 2017 trade show going on in Las Vegas, it is common for us to see new products being launched every now and then. Here’s one more such launch.

Asus has unveiled its new Chromebook Flip C302 at the trade show, with a price tag of $499 which roughly translates to Rs 34,000. This seems to be one of those very few high-end Chromebooks available in the market.

Also being a 2-in-1 convertible device, the Chromebook Flip C302 is made up of aluminium and features a 360 degree hinge allowing users to use it in tent mode, tablet mode, and even stand mode. Yes, pretty much like a Lenovo Yoga tablet/laptop hybrid that you have seen so far.

Technically speaking, the Chromebook Flip C302 sports a 12.5 inch LED backlit FHD display, while it runs on Chrome OS and also supports Android apps via Google Play.

The Chromebook is powered by either Intel Core M 6Y30 processor or Intel Core M 6Y75 processor, while either 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM is included as well. The device also comes with 32 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB of EMMC storage options.

Having said this, the price tag which we mentioned earlier - $499 is for the base model that comprises of 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

On the connectivity end, the Chromebook Flip C302 comes with Bluetooth 4.2, microSD card reader, two USB Type C 3.1 Ports, and WiFi.
