Huawei Mate 9 New Update Brings 10x Digital Zoom Option

The update weighing around 278 MB also brings security patches for the month of December.

Chinese smartphone company Huawei has recently started rolling out a new update to its smartphone, Mate 9. Weighing around 278 MB, the update is said to bring along a couple of Android security fixes for the month of December.

The update comes with a build number MHA-AL00C00B153 and along with security fixes, the company has also included other changes as well.

The update brings with it a 10x digital zoom option that allows users to digitally zoom in ten times now, with their Mate 9 smartphone camera. Along with this, there are other performance based improvements in the camera app.

However, as we know already, OTA rollouts take some  time before they actually hit all the handsets in the market. So, you may have to wait until you are in luck, else you can head to Settings menu and check manually if you can get the update downloaded.
