Samsung May Soon Rollout Nougat Update To Galaxy Tab S2 9.7

The tablet was launched with Lollipop, and ever since then, this is going to be its second major update.

Samsung is rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat beta builds to some of its recently launched flagship smartphones. We all know this. However, Samsung tablet users can also have hopes of tasting the latest flavour of Android.

A recent benchmarking test spotted on GFXBench reveals about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with 9.7 inch display screen running on Android 7.0 Nougat. To recall, this tablet is almost more than a year old at the time of writing this story.

Also, earlier in November, reports were spotted online speculating about Samsung working on the Android 7.0 Nougat update for both Tab S2 and Note 5. We can clearly see the company’s progress in rolling out the latest updates to its devices.

However, as we know, there are different variants of the Galaxy Tab S2, but the one spotted on GFXBench is the 9.7 inch model. But, once we have seen this, we can safely bet that Samsung will be testing the update on the 8 inch variant as well.

Just to refresh your minds, the Galaxy Tab S2 was actually launched with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop as its operating system. Ever since then, the company has rolled out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, and now the tablet seems to be all set to receive its second major update. It surely looks like Samsung loves the Galaxy Tab S2 device a lot.
