Meizu M5 Note Goes Official In China With A 5.5" Screen

The handset features a 13-megapixel rear camera and 4000 mAh battery.

 

Meizu knows for its budget Android phones has announced the M5 Note in China. The handset boasts of a metal unibody. Going by the looks, it seems inspired by HTC's design language. The phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, with 2.5D curved glass on top.



The M5 Note is powered by MediaTek's Helio P10 chipset. It comes in 3 GB and 4 GB RAM variants. The 3 GB lets you pick between 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage. The top model with 4 GB RAM comes with 64 GB internal storage. The phone has a hybrid slot, which means that you can either use a secondary SIM or expand the storage. Meizu has integrated the fingerprint sensor in the home button. As far as the photography in concerned, you get a 13-megapixel camera. Selfies are taken care off by a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper. The M5 Note comes with 4G voLTE support. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, and 4000 mAh battery.



On the software side of things, you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Of course, it will feature the Flyme OS skin. According to FoneArena, the base model of the The Meizu M5 Note is priced at 899 yuan (approx Rs 9000). For the 36 GB version of the handset, you will have to shell out 999 yuan, which roughly translates to Rs 10,000. Lastly, the top-end version will set you back for 1499 yuan (approx Rs 15,000). The phone will be available in China starting December 8. At this point, there's no word on its global rollout.
