Reliance Jio Now Reportedly Has The Highest Data Traffic

The record is believed to be due to the free data offer given by the company, and the true colors can be understood when the company rolls out paid tariff plans.

Reliance Jio has been the talk of the town lately, and who doesn't have a Jio SIM card! Well, most of us do. Lucrative offers by the telecom company help it gain over 100 million subscribers in just a matter of few months.

Despite of the fact that Jio's 4G VoLTE network connectivity did observe some concerns like call drops, the operator seems to have been gaining popularity each and every day.

And now, global financial services company Credit Suisse has sent out a report stating that Reliance Jio is getting the highest data traffic in the world with around 16,000 TB per day. This is in-fact humongous, when compared to China Mobile's 12,000 TB, Vodafone Global's 6,000 TB and Airtel's 2,000 TB per day data traffic.

Along with this, the same global financial company has commented about the declining 4G speeds of Reliance Jio. The company has not really commented on any thing, and it is also worth noting that, the company has not yet announced any of these figures officially!

However, back in June-July, the company had revealed that over 16 million new subscribers were enrolled within a month of commercial roll out, and the network operator had announced that around 26 GB of data per person was consumed as of June end. It is also worth noting that back then, the company had just 15 lakh subscribers.

Considering the 16,000 TB per day data traffic as true to the fact, we expect this to be solely attributed to the free data offer that is being given by the operator. However, the real numbers can be understood only when the free period is closed down and subscribers enter the actual payment options.
