Search On Google For iOS App Now In Incognito Mode

To enter an existing incognito session, you will have to access only through the Touch ID, thus giving more secured feeling.

Just a while after celebrating its 18th birthday, Google seems to be more active than ever before. We witnessed a number of new announcements at the 'Google for India' event held in New Delhi on Sept 27 itself, and also we have been witnessing a couple of rumours and leaks about Pixel XL. On top of all these, Google has now announced a couple of new improvements for the Google App for iOS.

The new features make the Google App for iOS more private, video-friendly, and stable, as claimed in a recently published blog post on the official Google Search Blog.

Speaking in depth about these features, the update allows users to search privately with incognito mode in the Google app for iOS, which means that when you have incognito mode turned on in your settings, the search and browsing history will not be saved, according to Google Search Blog. This is pretty much how the incognito mode works in Google Chrome browser.

Along with this, the Touch ID on your iPhone enables you to lock down the incognito mode and thus, entering the existing session would require your fingerprint being scanner. Pretty smart!

Heading forward, the search app now allows you to easily watch YouTube videos right over there, thereby reducing the load time and increasing fun, claims the blog post.

And, finally, Google claims that the search app has now been made more reliable and is less likely to crash. This means, while Google became an adult recently, the features are becoming smarter enough!
