Huawei Unveils New Nova Series of Smartphones At IFA 2016

The Huawei nova, with 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM, is slated to be available by October in over fifty countries.

 

Huawei launched its latest range of Nova Smartphone at IFA 2016 in Berlin. The Huawei nova series is powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor, which uses advanced 14nm technology to increase performance and reduce power consumption. The Huawei nova’s 3020 mAh battery with Smart Power 4.0 can power longer sessions for users to easily navigate between different apps. Nova and Nova Plus are available in three colours: Prestige Gold, Mystic Silver and Titanium Grey.

In terms of camera specifications, Huawei Nova offers a 12MP rear camera while Nova Plus features a 16MP rear camera with image stabilisation giving photography enthusiasts the tools to capture perfect images. Both devices feature a 8MP front camera.

Huawei's 3D fingerprint sensor supports faster and more accurate unlocking for improved security and convenience. The fingerprint sensor can be further personalised to control many of the phone's functions, including photography.

The Huawei nova plus , with 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM, will initially be available in October in over 50 markets including Spain, Italy and Canada, before being offered in additional markets. In China, the Huawei nova series can be purchased online at JD.com and Tmall.com, in addition to the Huawei store.

IFA 2016, Berlin, also saw a number of other exciting product announcements from Huawei Consumer Business Group. With an impressive 8.4" screen view, MediaPadM3 features the biggest screen to body ratio in the segment. The flagship Huawei P9 is slated to have a new look with  Red and Blue colorways in addition to the camera, co-engineered with Leica, and other features.
