Huawei Terminal To Launch Honor 8 Smartphone On July 11
The smartphone made a trip to TENAA, tipping some of its features.
Huawei Terminal’s Honor will unveil the Honor 8 smartphone at an event on July 11. The much-anticipated smartphone apparently passed China's Tenaa certification site recently.
In the teaser that confirmed the launch date, there were also hints that the phone may feature a dual-rear camera setup. The brand has yet to confirm this.
The Tenaa listing for what is generally thought to be the Honor 8 indictaes a 5.2-inch full-HD display, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 2900mAh battery, octa-core Kirin 950 processor, 4GB of RAM, NFC, as well as a fingerprint scanner.
According to the certification authority, it will be equipped with a 5.2-inch 1080p display and a Kirin 950 SoC. The memory options are varied and reportedly include a choice between 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB or even 128GB of storage. On the camera side, there is a 12MP camera on the back and an 8MP selfie cam in front.

From the front, the device looks fairly normal, almost like an iPhone or a Galaxy S7 devoid of the home button. The back, however, is quite a different story:

Simple is beautiful, and moreover, simple is unique. The Honor 8 has no flashy rings or windows at all, and presents everything quite plainly. The simplicity and uniqueness of this product will definitely attract more than a few buyers.
