The company makes some of the world's finest high-quality digital audio players. Now, they are available in India too!

Astell&Kern has entered the Indian market in exclusive partnership with Indian distributor Ferrari Video and it’s retail brand Headphone Zone. Speaking about this move, Raghav Somani, CEO of Headphone Zone said, “Today, Astell&Kern has become the preferred choice for the world’s most discerning audiophiles  and we’re excited to bring to the passionate Indian music listener, the ultimate range of luxury audio players”.

Their current line up of music players is available in India with prices starting at Rs. 34,990, for the AK Jr and includes their flagship AK380, available at Rs. 249,990.

Being a high-end audiophile brand by iriver, Astell&Kern offers the ultimate Hi-Fi audio system capable of playing Mastering Quality Sound (MQS) from music mastering studios. Made with the ability to decode and convert files to HD format, their range of audio players is unique, with the AK380, AK320, AK300 and the AK Jr playing a leading role in the market.

Henry Park, CEO of iriver, parent company of Astell&Kern said:  "The success of the entire line of Astell&Kern portable music players has proven that audiophiles everywhere want the best possible sound at home and when they travel. Astell&Kern has also launched some accessories – the Cradle for AK300, AK320 and AK380 players, which not only provides the expected USB data transfer and charging capabilities, but also incorporates a stereo balanced analogue output via a pair of three-pin XLR-type connectors, thus inviting owners to use their AK380s as the primary DACs in their full-sized audio systems, without compromising portability.

Their desktop CD-Ripper is a handsome little CD‑ROM drive that can rip CDs directly to the all player’s in-built memory. The AK CD-RIPPER continues with the 'light and shadow' design motif from the AK380, retaining the subtle changes and details in the emitted brilliance as light flows across its surfaces. To reflect the subtle changes in beautiful sound that stimulate the senses, more surfaces were created to accentuate the flowing elegance and slim appearance.
