Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime Launched In India For Rs 8,499

The smartphone is the second device made in India after the Redmi 2 Prime.

 

Chinese smartphone company has recently launched its new smartphone which was first teased on Amazon India e-commerce website a week ago.

As per the speculations, it has turned out that the smartphone launched by the company is the new Redmi Note Prime which comes with a price tag of Rs 8,499.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime will be exclusively available for purchase via Amazon India and Mi.com starting from Tuesday, Dec 15.

The smartphone is the second device that is completely made in India after the Redmi 2 Prime that was launched back in August.

Much like the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, the smartphone will be manufactured in the Foxconn facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking about the technical specifications of the device, the Redmi Note Prime comes with a 5.5 inch IPS display, 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 13 MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, 5 MP front facing camera and 3,100 mAh battery.

On the connectivity side, the device features 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, Micro USB 2.0 and USB OTG.
