Xiaomi To Soon Launch Redmi Note 2 Prime In India

The smartphone is currently being teased on Amazon.in which means that it will be sold exclusively on Amazon India.

 

It looks like Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch its Redmi Note 2 Prime smartphone in India.

Supporting this, the company along with Amazon India website has come up with a teaser which clearly suggests that the smartphone will be an Amazon Exclusive.

However, the teaser available on Amazon India website doesn't reveal the name of the smartphone, the image being used resembles the Note 2 Prime and the teaser also says '#PrimeIsComing'.

In the current teaser on Amazon.in, the e-commerce website has displayed that more details and new information about the smartphone will be provided everyday.

Speaking about the technical specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime, it features a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display, 2.2 GHz octa core MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, dual SIM support, 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, 5 MP front facing camera, Infrared sensor, 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi support, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3,060 mAh battery.

The device runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
