Highlights: Sony PlayStation Experience Event 2016

Sony's annual PlayStation Experience (PSX) took place in California. The even focuses on the future of gaming at PlayStation. In short, it is much like E3, but meant only for Sony. As expected the company announced some big exclusive titles for its gaming console PS4. Out of the lot, here are the hand-picked games you should care about:

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
One of the biggest hits on the PlayStation 4 so far, Uncharted series got a new game. Dubbed as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, the game revolves around the adventures of Chloe Frazer. Fans of the developer Naughty Dog's franchise will remember her from the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. This is the first time, an Uncharted game won't feature Nathan Drake as a protagonist as his story was concluded in the last chapter. You can check out the game trailer below:



The Last Of Us: Part II
New Uncharted wasn't the only announcement from Naughty Dog studios. The company company announced the next chapter in its insanely popular survival horror game The Last Of Us. Set in the post-apocalyptic world, The Last Of Us: Part II continues Joel and Ellie's journey through the zombie-infested wastelands. The trailer doesn't shed much details on the story arc, but is quite intriguing for sure.



Resident Evil 7
Another PS4 exclusive to make waves at the PSX event was the Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. According to the Japanese developer Capcom, the upcoming game has an impressive degree of visual fidelity thanks to the RE Engine. Many segments of the games will also make use of PlayStation VR headset for added level of immersion. The Resident Evil 7 takes the story forward from where the last game left it. Dino Frontier
Sony announced a standalone PlayStaion VR game Dino Frontier. Developed by Uber Entertainment, the new game lets you build and manage a frontier settlement where dinosaurs and cowboys co-exist. You task is to balance the resources as your town grows. The dinosaurs pose a threat to your settlement, but can also be use to your advantage with some clever planning. The game is expected to hit the stores next year.



Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite
The popular fighting game franchise Marvel and Capcom is back with a new game. For those not in the know, the cross-over game series lets you pit Marvel characters including Iron Man and Captain America against Capcom guys such as Chun-Li, Dante, amd Ryu. The latest instalment called Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite come with variety of exciting and accessible single player modes. of course, based on Unreal engine 4, the game has also received significant visual improvements.
