LG has unveiled a brand new 3G Watch Phone - LG GD910. The GD910 features touchscreen technology and is touted to have one of the slickest interfaces you may have seen in a watch phone (assuming you may have seen any other watch phone before). The phone has a camera at the top-right corner and built-in speaker allowing the user to make video calls over high-speed 3G network according to a statement by LG Electronic.
It is based on WCDMA (wideband code division multiple access) phone supports the latest 7.2Mbps HSDPA (high-speed downlink packet access) data system, allowing fast download speeds. A GSM version may be in the works, but no word is out about it as yet. Voice recognition, text-to-speech are present along with Bluetooth and MP3 playback functions. The screen is 3.63 cm (1.43-inch) while the thickness of the device is 13.9 mm. This phone will be showcased at CES 2009, Las Vegas. While we do not know whether you may or may not feel like you are making a call with this phone, but you will certainly feel like you are Johnny Sokko commanding the Giant Robot!
