HP has recently launched a brand new series of nine stylish and trendy laptops in India, to stay ahead of the rest in the laptop market. These laptops come with several valuable software and features like backlit keyboard, biometric fingerprint reader, etc.
They have also taken care of the multimedia department by adding in HDMI 1.3 along with an inbuilt TV Tuner, a Blu-ray drive and an infrared remote control. This new range of laptop is priced in the range of Rs.26,990 to Rs.48,990.
"This astounding product is a result of HP's extensive research, focusing on user preferences amongst the youth. Keeping in mind the priorities of today's young generation, HP has factored in features like the flush glass finish and the 3D drive guard.
A unique blend of looks and durability, the new range is both attractive and sturdy. Now, the generation next can - not only enjoy the multimedia experience but flaunt their notebook with oodles of style," according to Rajiev Grover, Director - Consumer Products, personal systems group of Hewlett Packard India.
These laptops feature a unique blend of looks and durability making them attractive as well as sturdy. HP plans to expand its retail footprint spread across 600 cities across the country with a retail dealer network strength of over 6000 by the year-end.
It would be interesting to note that the notebook market, which was at just 85,000 in 2003, has grown to 1.7 million units last year and will touch 2.4 million during the current fiscal. According to IDC, by the end of the year 2012, the projected notebook sales are slated to touch 7.8 million.
It is nice that HP is realeasing New Laptops but what about Service and Support of the older ones. The parts of recently launched notebooks are not available with them so what is the use of launching new ones when HP cannot support the other models.
