Want a card reader for your SIM drive? Check out the i.Tech SIM Drive.

Internal memory, can backup SIM card data.

Can't read messages stored on the card.

Design & Features

The i.Tech SIM drive is a tiny thing, and luckily comes with a place to attach a lanyard. However, there isn't one provided in the bundle. The outside is rubberized but doesn't add grip so much as it makes it pleasant to the touch. The build seems sturdy despite its small size and would stand up to some rough use. The SIM card is inserted at the back, with an LED for a status indicator.

Software

The software for the drive comes loaded into its internal memory. With only 502 KB of memory, this SIM drive isn't going to replace your flash drive.

Nonetheless, it's enough to store the 300KB software and backups of your phone list, which tends to be around 8-10KB. This means you'll probably be able to store the backups of about 15-20 SIM cards on the reader itself. You could add more if you take the 320KB software off the drive. With the ability to restore the backups as well, this might actually be useful.

The drive took about 30 seconds to read all the contacts off the card though the speed is adjustable and can be faster.

The sim drive can't anything besides the contacts on the phone so you're out of luck. Service provider data and mobile identification are out.

Ppl just dont jump at a chance to comment on someone. He also mentioned usb as another option. Also nokia has the largest share of mobile market so in majority of the cases mobile == nokia.
