The COWON Q5W is the second PMP we have received from iAudio this year. Previously it was the Cowon A3; these players are PMPs in every sense of the word they offer much more as a PMP. The COWON A3 has set a benchmark for itself being one the most performance oriented PMP I've come across but sadly fared badly in the design department. The COWON Q5W that we have today is the Premium PMP from iAudio, which offers the better design and functionality that will pitch against the competition perfectly.

I would suggest to go for Cowon A3 60GB. It is the ultimate value for money at present. Do check it out!!! :)

but when u have to f**king convert all files to mp4 format to play in the ipod touch which also has a stupid display aspect ratio (480 x 320 -> 3:2).. is that not a pain in the @$$ ?

All in all, this is only worth buying if you have that much extra $$$ laying around since portability is an issue here. Couldn't agree more with getting the iPod Touch first before considering this. It's however suitable to those wanting this extras to connect to their multimedia centres.
