Zotac has recently updated their 630i based Mini-ITX motherboard by integrating WiFi with it. Though it seems like a minor upgrade, the main aim of releasing such a board is either for an HTPC or maybe a download rig with the addition of WiFi for those who may need it.
The 630i chipset has been around for more than a year now and comes with a Nvidia 7150 for the onboard graphics. The ITX boards however feature a 7100 graphics core which has full DirectX 9c processing capabilities (no DX10 obviously). This is probably not the best when it comes to handling 1080p (or even 720p for that matter) content but we'll find out soon enough.

What is the point of having WiFi for a carputer? To sneak wifi from unguarded access points? Or would you like to sit in your garage and surf the internet?

A wifi in car computer has immense value. You can register for hotspots offered by various companies (you buy an account and surf anywhere). If not, when my car is parked in the garage, the computer can wakeup apply updates, sync data, download data. Who says no wifi on the car?? I wish the board had atleast 1 PCI and 1 PCI express slot. sigh! Waiting for the dual core atom here as well!
