Saves a lot of space, good build, Supports 720p resolution, Good cost saving option when buying in numbers.
Dynamic contrast adjustments not up to the mark, slight mismatch in the HCR test, Pricey.
I've always had a belief that if you're going for an LCD monitor, you'd rather go for the biggest one you can afford (and make space for). So, it did come as a surprise that manufacturers decided to launch 16-inch LCD panels as well.
So, when I received a tiny little box from Viewsonic claiming to hold a 16-inch LCD monitor inside, curiosity got the better of me and thence began a session of hardcore tests, gaming and err...movies. Here's what I think.
The Monitor
Very Poor After Sales Service. Call logged on 23/6/08, as on 10/07/08 waiting for service engineer.
