Transcend T.sonic 820

Transcend T.sonic 820

Pankhuri Bajaj, Aug 17, 2007 1629 hrs IST

For those seeking reasonably good sound quality at a reasonable price, here's a product you should check out.

Battery life, Loads of settings, Simple Interface, Video playback, Bundled Security Software, Value for money.

Bundled earphones could have been better, Can play limited formats, Average build quality.

The layout of the T.sonic 820 is such that it feels like a mini mobile phone. When held in the palm of your hand, all its keys are within the reach of your thumb for easy navigation. The buttons are well spaced and you'll hardly misstep. However, the build quality and feel of the buttons is strictly average and they're not soft-touch.

The image below illustrates the placement of various controls on the player.

Techtree is on the ball with this one. I have the Transcend T610 (2GB) with EP630s but this model looks much more promising. Video playback too! Good effort by Transcend..

Ms. Bajaj. This piece of writing is pretty decent. It is a great improvement over the last semi-abstract attempt to show-off language skills that fell flat.

If you want to listen to music on this, better buy any Iriver player (even if it is 256 MB) for the same price. You would not mind changing the songs every now and then but you will definetly enjoy the quality of sound.
