hi. i bought a 4gb transcend pen drive 2months back and now intermittently it stops working. whenever i try coping or deleting data frm it, i get a message, the drive is write protected. i have to unplug & plug it back it and format it and it works for a while but the same problem again. plz let me know where i can replace the same in pune.

T.sonic 630 is far better performance than 610 including sound quality. Battery life and stereo effects r amazing! Only bad thing is the bundled earphone, the same is provided for all transcend models i think so. I hav replaced it with creative EP480(32ohms) a good matching and it really rocks!(Rs 175 from sp road though the price noted is Rs 950 on net.) All the problems are coming onl becuase of 1 reason...not removing the hardware safely... and initialising problem came only when trying to charge with adpater and not with USB....

It should be available everywhere in sp road. I got it from an electronics shop. Ep480 is a particular type of earphone with abt 1.2m lengthy chord better for fm reception and neodymium magnet powered 32 ohms driver perfectly matching with t.sonic 630.Excellent overall frequency response for deeper bass and trebles.so go for it!

Try pressing the RESET button...........just press it! Don't hold it pressed!..............then it'll switch on.......it worked for my 4GB player........don't know why it happens......

I am having TRANSCEND sonic 2 GB mp3 player. Immediatly after switching on the player it gets off in few mts. I am not having bill to claim warrenty. already i gave the peace for repair twice. yes. no need to give the player to the dealer for installing firmware. download latest firmware from transcend site. after installing it, u'll find a readme file, which contains the directions to install the firmware.

Hey try this.. When you try to switch on the device when the keys are locked.. it will go off. Try releasing the lock and switch it on.

Good choice. Feel the Music but be careful while connecting it in PC because virus affected PC will corrupt the driver files necessary for the player. keep the firmware safe in this case.

Dont Worry rajan, its because the PC you connected the MP3 PLAYER contains a virus named 'fijacks'. try to get rid of the virus and update the firmware by utilising the CD you got along with the player. I have purchased one Creative ZEN V Plus MP3 player during my trip to Finland last month. Now, it has following problems: a) Once switch on it get struck at a particular song. at this level entire player become inoperative. b) Charging through computer is also not effective. Question: Is there any authorised service centre in Chennai ?

Recently Owned this T.Sonic 630 2 GB. Excellent value for money. For better sound quality use headphones of aiwa/sony/ipod. Transcend headphones produces average quality sound. Best for High Quality Recording from mic/line-in/FM. Very easy navigation.

Hi Vijay. The sifymall ppl are silent on their website regarding warranty. I called their tollfree line and got the info that it only carries a 3 month warranty.

In Andheri we have a shopping complex called Nadco very close to the station in the West. There in the complex are a couple of shops specialising in these items. In fact I had been there the other day for buying a pen drive, when I spotted this model of Transcend in the showcase.

I've heard that some MP3 players come with line in socket for audio recording as well as with normal usb socket.This is for recording from tape or other audio source.The player automtically converts the wave form of input recording into MP3 format.Any information about this sich as make,model,battery life,perfprmance etc etc and ofcourse price and availiblity?THANKS.
