In-ear type of earphones have one major issue - the issue of not always fitting well into the ear canal. But Sony takes care of this issue by providing two extra pairs of silicone rubber earplugs of different sizes, for the earphones to fit snugly in a wider range of ear canal sizes.
Airplane adapter keeps you entertained in solitude during your air travels
An airplane adapter that converts the stereo jack into dual mono jacks is provided as a part of the bundle. The adapter works on most in-flight stereo jacks, thus allowing you to enjoy music or videos without the engine roaring into your ear drums.
One mono jack folds inside to turn the adapter into an extender of sorts
You will notice that both the jacks of this adapter are not mono, one is stereo, the mono adapter can fold inside and you can use just the stereo adapter as an extension in situations where there is not enough space to plug in the straight stereo jack directly into the socket.
A rather rich-looking felt carry pouch with two internal compartments is provided so that you can carry the earphones around along with the accessories.
I bought a pair of these headphones and the unequal Length of the ear phone cord is disturbing and as far as I know unajustable, everybody that trys them trys to adjust them to no avail. One side of the cord is like a foot long and the other side 4 inch's what the %&&%%%#
Firstly.. How did Sony get this brand name??? Its quality and reliability... thats not easy to achieve. The premium for a BMW is just the same. Secondly, all LCD's in a SONY are manufactured by Samsung. Its still expensive by ~15% because of the total integration of the system and the brand. I bought a Samsung when i was India and that thing fouled up on me in like a week. Replaced it with Sony and bingo.. not an issue at all..
Some time ago I read in an article in an Indian business magazine, where SONY said that it charges a premium on its products because its SONY. I was a big SONY fan till then. I do not purchase any SONY products after that. I sold my SONY TV and purchased a Samsug 42" LCD at much less than the equivalent SONY product. I'm writing this actually in support of the post of 'Rav from Mumbai'. My stand today is that there are a number of excellent products available at much less than SONY prices. Let SONY sell to the rich and famous, who often have more money than brains.
Agree with your view, Sony or for that matter Nokia are companies which charge atleast 25-30% for their brand. Who ends up paying this? we the consumers. Just because its a sony or its priced prohibitively does not always mean its better.
Compare features, technology version, specifications, brand, post sales support and then make a sensible value for money decision!!
"original sony products dont sell on the streets.so please do not give wrong advice."what i mean is that they only sell at the mrp not one rupee more not one rupee less at least in mumbai.
