For Sony, this is going to be a great year because a few really big titles are coming up
The year is looking good for Sony. Not that the Xbox 360 is having a bad time; with its Gears of War 2, Fable 2, and Alan Wake, the master console is having a gala time. For Sony, this is going to be a great year because a few really big titles are coming up -- biggies like MGS 4, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, and Socom: Confrontation, plus new ones like Little Big Planet, and so on. Unfortunately, Killzone 2 has got delayed again to next year, which is a big letdown, and I fear may cause problems for Sony. But speculations apart, let's see what Sony has to offer its core audience. With an embedded video, producer interviews, detailed description, and subtitles (when necessary), I give you Sony's Gamers' Day: 08.
Siren: Blood Curse

The horror genre isn't the most popular genre in gaming; not many are inclined to the dark and gory gameplay. But that doesn't stop developers from releasing amazing titles like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. This particular genre is a major hit in Japan, where gamers seem to have an appetite for horror. Sony announced a game called Siren: Blood Curse, a survival horror genre game that takes place in a fictional Japanese village. According to the producer, an American TV crew is sent over to a Japanese village to investigate mysterious incidents. The crew goes there assuming that it's an urban myth but what happens is no myth. The game will be available on the PSN. Check out the video below:
