If you don't want a Nokia, here's a Sony Ericsson under 5k

Low res display, slow UI, no MMS inspite of GPRS, only 600kb of memory
Every review has its own share of brand lovers and haters. We put up a Nokia review, and people say that we hate Sony Ericsson. We put up a Sony Ericsson review, and they say that Motorola or Samsung has a better model. It just goes on and on. So, while we're at the topic of entry level phones after the Nokia 2600 review, let's take a look at Sony Ericsson's offering in the same segment, for those who just don't want to mention the "N" word when asked what phone they use.
Sony Ericsson's J200i is a sasta phone, coming for you at Rs. 4750 off the street. However, I don't find it very sundar - its a subjective issue - though I don't doubt its build quality, which means its probably tikau enough. The phone is a tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900)/GPRS handset that also offers WAP. Being tri-band instantly gives it more points than the 2600 which is only dual-band, but for most of you peeps that won't matter. However, even the J200i has no MMS, which is quite strange since it does support GPRS and WAP. The Nokia 2600 doesn't offer MMS either.

i buy sony w350i before 3 months and from that time no call is connecting i.e neither incoming nor outgoing so i showed at service centre in lko but the service of that place is very bad . hi guys, There are really few sony service centers in mumbai. all those who exists are authorised service centers.i had some problem with my sony W810i phone. It was dispalying configuration error. i visited authorised sony ericssion service center at Taddev, Mumbai (commerce chembers bulding). They kept my phone with them for a week and did nothing saying its a major issue with circuit of the phone and circuit needs to be replaced, which will coast around Rs.6000/- I was shocked. I decided to buy a new phone instead of spending 6000 on this phone. but my fried suggested me to show phone to some other service center, so i wnet to Sierra Mobile Communications Private Limited (its anoter sony ericssion service center) nearby shivaji park(dadar,mumbai). they started my phone by re-installing software into phone :) thaks to serria [B]Sierra Mobile Communications Private Limited[/B]

i have bought a sony W580i model on23/09/2007@18.15 PM from Conection Hosur,Tamilnadu.but after one month i found it has problem with slider and they asked me to contact Numeric communication services malleswaram,Banagalore and they told thatone of the keypad no 5 is getting struck during sliding and also told that they will replace the whole key pad.Hardly i made 10 calls from that phone.can i get replacement for my mobile.(really i felt very bad after buying SONY bcoz sony products has got this much problems)

Dear Freind, I think you have connected your phone in File transfer mode. Pls. connect it in Phone mode. Because File transfer mode is link USB mass storage and handset always restart in File transfer mode.
