Sony BDU-X10S Blu-ray Reader

Possibly a very important component of your HD-capable HTPC

Good overall performance, good build, silent, complete bundle with Blu-ray title and CyberLink PowerDVD BD edition.

A little expensive, slower with non-Blu-ray media, no extra bezels

About The Drive

The blue Blu-ray logo is prominently displayed at the front of the drive

The drive sports a solid build and looks similar to any other optical drive, but the Blu-ray emblem is prominently displayed on the black tray cover, with a transparent plastic outer layer. The tray is sturdy, but the eject mechanism seems to be too fast; it ejects in under a second and a half.
