How does this projector work?
The projector is light in weight at approximately 2.6 Kilos. It looks good in its metallic silver grey colour and has a remote that can be used effectively to change all settings on the projector. The projector accepts input from a PC through the VGA and DVI cable, the VGA cable is the only one that provided. General video input can be taken from S-Video and Composite. It has a maximum projection distance of 50 feet 6 inches and minimum distance of 6 feet 8 inches. It is also equipped with audio but you would be better off with external speakers. It also comes with a bag so you can lug it around to your presentations.
We tested and configured the projector using Display Mate, the optimum resolution of the projector is 800X600 and all the tests were conducted at this resolution. The projector was very easy to configure and did not have any problems except that the green colour was a little distorted appearing at the edges of white lines. The luminance of 1300 Ansi Lumens was bright, but not bright enough to use during the day time or in a moderately lighted place. The fan is also quite noisy.Conclusion
The Sharp Notevision PG-M20S is priced at Rs.1,95,000 just about right for such a device. No fireworks here, it is simple to operate portable, and ideal for the purpose it is meant for, being mobile. Recommended for corporates who want to take their show on the road.

I have a Sharp Mini System, it has a complaint - when we play a CD the tracks are jumping from one song to another continously without playing the song fully and the video system is also in problem, if we play the video CD play the audio can hear and no video. I had purchased an oven from Sharp for about 5 years ago at the cost of rupees >24k. It already got repaired twice and I spent about Rs 7000 for the rapir. The reasons each time the service representative gives scares me of the design faults. Now again it is my oven is not working. Upon calling the rep. he says the magnetron and the fuse both are spoiled. He wants to charge agi Rs 3500. I feel there is something wrong with this model. Is there anyway i could take this case to Sharp directly?

life of the lamp is very less and it doesnt worth it in buying laps . i havina Sharp Notevision PG-M20S projecter the following are problems which i facing is 1. on the screen its shows notevision & lamp start wraming but with in 2or 3seconds its goes off againits shows lamp is warming up please give me the details of the lamp and whats is problem with the projecter .the lamp is new i hardly used 15hrs only .please help me out of this . regards, sudhakar reliance infocom india .

We had taken this projector on a 30 city tour, this projector had given us a lot of problem, it will switch off on it own in the middle of a client presentation i.e. every 15 mins. We had got it fixed from the Sharp service center twice but even their technicians couldn't fix this patent problem. Its a really sad projector since a movie run atleast for 2 hrs. and this projector can't bear to work so long, too much of stress I guess.
