This is a general question relating all cordless /wireless products. Guys I hear Radio Frequency can cause Brain Tumor - this is particularly important for Headphones and their indoor transmitters, as these are normally used/worn for hours together ? I'm interested to buy a seenheirser cordless RF headphone, should I bother about RF ?

I'm in Australia where these retail for $249.00 AU which is alot more than retail in the US. So its not just the sub-continent who pay "overs" for Sennheiser.

No matter which brand or how much cost. wireless can't beat the wired headphones although you can enjoy wireless freedom.

After goingthro' the comments till this time and from my learlier experiences, the cost id unaffordable for most indains, maay be those in IT jobs may purchase a banana at 100/- In India the prices are decided in a manner not understandable. Terms like MRP , 50% off after sometime etc have 3 at cost of 2 and what not... perhaps this item is yet another example -- otherwise, this is called a high end product not for MIGs

This has to be a first for Techtree. Nobody has asked for the price of the item. But I am still positive that somebody will turn up. Don't lose hope yet.

While these headphones are reputed to be good- the company/disti are trying to rook us Indians- by over pricing this by almost 2-3/4 times. These can be picked up shipped in US for $ 99 i.e. Rs. 4050. Just because we are Indians- we pay 280% inflated price. Yaron itna na maro!Let the buyer beware.
vijayshimla | Shimla 171001 | 25/08/07 06:54 AM | Report abuse Reply
You dont have to pay 280% more! If you look at the back of the box, the sticker tells you they are oficially imported and marketed in India and the MRP on the box is 7490/- rupees. You can get them for 6000/-.I bought mine for 6000/- with warranty and bill.So it s not bad a price , taking into consideration they are SENNHEISER WIRELESS HEADPHONES WITH A RECHARGEABLE BASE, which is rare amongst wireless headsets and transportation costs!!

It is high time buyers understand the logic of international pricing. The qty of such items sold in US is so huge that a much much lower price point is possible. However since barbers are in short supply in US you have to pay minimum Rs. 900 - 1000 minimum there. This doesn?t mean that barbers in US are fleecing their customers. To give you more light on electronics, India sells appx. 2.5% of the no of PCs sold in the world and that 2.5% comprises mostly of cheapest products. So every product have a pricing with sufficient logic. No need to cry on this exposing your knowledge ness like our politicians. Electronic item prices also vary hugely due to obsolescence.

Can the anonymous purchaser from mumbai please post the details from where he purchased the 130 for such a low price.

Now I m confused- my post on overcharging originated because of :- Frazier Baretto stating The Sennheiser RS130 sells for Rs. 10,900 with a one year warranty. Where as Anonymous from mumbai states that the MRP on the box is 7490/- rupees. You can get them for 6000/-.I bought mine for 6000/- with warranty and bill (Sennheiser RS130 )?this I think is still a fair price. Who is Right ? Confused Confused Confused
